Mark B. Tornatore, D.M.D.
Dr. Mark Tornatore has practiced General Dentistry in Victor, New York since 1989. He established his practice with a simple philosophy: Take care of people in the manner that you wish to be taken care of yourself. That concept endures in his practice to this day.
Patient care is paramount. High-tech equipment, procedures and materials are utilized to provide patients with needed care. Caring team members work with Dr. Tornatore to facilitate as comfortable a dental experience as possible.
Dr. Tornatore received his dental degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, one of only a handful of local dentists to graduate from this fine institution. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science. Dr. Tornatore is originally from the upstate New York community of Canastota.
Dr. Tornatore believes that optimal patient care involves a continuous and collaborative study of new methods and techniques in today's ever-changing practice environment. Dr. Tornatore and his team pursue continuing education in excess of the New York State requirement and are energized by the technological advancements and state of the art procedures allowing most patient to keep most, if not all of their teeth for a lifetime. .
Dr. Tornatore is a member of the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of the State of New York, the Monroe County Dental Society, the Ontario County Dental Society, the Elmwood Implant Peer Practicum, and the Apollonian Dental Study Club.
On a personal note, Dr. Tornatore is an avid skier and a member of the National Ski Patrol. The summer months see Dr. Tornatore on the water, sailing or boating. He enjoys these activities and others with his spouse, Eileene, and children, Kirsten, Matthew and Bryan.
Debbie (scheduling coordinator)
Debbie is our scheduling coordinator and the one most likely to answer the phone when you call. She joined Victor Family Dental Care in 2003 after twenty years in the customer service business. Debbie's exuberant personality and ability to learn quickly allowed her to make a natural transition to the dental practice. She enjoys interacting with the patients and their families and helping them understand their treatment process. Debbie lives in Honeoye Falls with her husband Scott and their two children, Parker and Eliza. As a family, they enjoy skiing, camping, soccer, and lacrosse.
Lisa (financial coordinator)
Lisa has worked in the health care field for the majority of her professional career. She enjoys making patients feel welcome and comfortable in our office. Lisa and her husband Jim live in Honeoye Falls and have two children, Jessica and Jim. Lisa and Jim also have a black Labrador named Truman. Lisa enjoys gardening, baking goodies for her friends and family and walking in the Village of Honeoye Falls.
Linda (Hygienist)
Linda joined our team in 2004 after 25 years in the dental field, and she says she “feels right at home. The staff and patients have been warm and receptive.” Linda's goal is “to educate and care for patients' needs while improving the quality of their lives.” She looks forward to teaming up with patients to achieve their goals for good dental health and well-being. Linda lives in Victor with her husband Tom and three children, Chad, Stacy and Holly. She enjoys hiking, baking, animals, and her new hobby is quilting.
Debbie (Hygienist)
Debbie has been a registered hygienist since 1988 and throughout the years she has enjoyed educating patients on their oral health. One of her favorite aspects of her job is that she can get to know patients and their families, and she looks forward to building these relationships with all of you. Currently, Debbie, her husband, their two sons, and the family dog live in Waterloo. In her free time, Debbie enjoys reading, snowshoeing, boating, and supporting her sons' sporting activities.
Shelley (certified clinical assistant)
Shelley began her career as a dental assistant in 1991. She was licensed and certified at Monroe community college and started full-time with Dr. Tornatore's team in February 2005. Shelley lives in Waterloo and enjoys camping and spending time with her family and friends. one of her favorite hobbies is playing softball which she does all spring and summer. Shelley loves meeting and getting to know new people and has had a great time getting to know the patients. Since there are less than 800 Certified Dental Assistants statewide, we are very proud to have Shelley as part of our team.
Shannon (certified clinical assistant)
Shannon has been a dental assistant since 1993. She enjoys working with patients to help them achieve a healthier, brighter smile which can only improve ones self-esteem. Shannon is very personable and energetic and she certainly brings that energy to our office. She lives in Victor with hher husband Denny, son Kyle, and their dog Jake. As a family they enjoy hiking, camping, and boating. In her spare time Shannon likes to shop, decorate her home, and attend all the hockey and lacrosse events that their son participates in. We are very proud to have Shannon as part of our team as she is also a NYS Certified Assistant.
